However, yesterday when I opened the PFC ,I found that these appeared directly under Incoming Mail Saved rather than in the intended folder. When I clicked on these to open them, got message "that mail is not currently available." I tried again today and got the same message. Other saved mail that is actually in a folder is available. I have never backed up my filing cabinet so can I use the "restore" feature? Assuming that I can restore these files stored on the server, I have three questions: 1. If I restore my PFC, will I then be able to retrieve and read these e-mails? 2. My settings are to backup weekly so how can I tell the date of the latest backup? 3. If I do a restore, do I just get the latest backup or can I specify an "as of" date? Needless to say, I'm very frustrated with AOL today. Thanks, Sara Hmmm...I don't know how these files got moved to the default incoming mail folder if you placed them in a different folder--are you sure they are not ALSO in the folders where you put them? If not, and assuming you deleted mail from your inbox and the mail from the incoming mail folder was likely deleted along with it. Joan
