We have just changed servers -- AOL to Comcast. However, we like AOL mail and Favorites so decided to keep both, but *AOL for mail and saving Favorites only*. Our purpose in changing from dial-up was to eliminate one phone line which we kept for emergencies and small business. Not thinking what we were doing, we soon realized we *can not* eliminate the second line and still have AOL for our mail and Favorites, (or can we?). There are so many options, it seems, and we are never sure which are best in our situation. We hear conflicting replies from installers and one said we would still be able to eliminate the second phone line and still use AOL's mail service, sending and receiving, along with Favorites. Is this possibly with what I have just described. Frankly, I am not sure my husband is too happy with the change. We were with AOL for so long and became accustomed to their workings (and sometimes not), and their little quirks which eventually were corrected, and sometimes I could not access HeritageQuest Online, which was another problem associated with AOL, I have been told. Also, I have never been able to use IE as a browser; the installer of Comcast suggested that it was either my Dell computer, or AOL, which could be the problem. Right now, my question is. Can we use AOL for mail and saving Favorites, and use Comcast in order to eliminate the second phone line. Thanks for any and all replies Virgene
