Well I met this pop up today. There was no way to get it off w/out installing it. I have had no connectivity problems except for a squirrel who chewed the end of my cable at the street end so I did not want to install it. I called AOL about 1/2 hour ago about this pop up and no way to get it off. At first he said install it and then uninstall it. I did not want to do that . So then he said to log off and on the computer to see if it goes away. It did. So then he said whenever it appears just log off and on which is really stupid! In past letters people have talked about no way any more to give feedback.. I asked the tech. It is the Keyword Help Feedback. I went there and there is a place to write. AOL has for a couple of years shown on the AOL System Information - Connectivity-Devices that I have other dial-up or Lan, which I have never had; however, I was able to connect without a problem. I have always used a card or a modem. Now after the download today with the additional connectivity files and the IPHSend file, AOL is trying to connect me via broadband, which I have never had. (TCR/IP) How do I get the devices to show only my modem? ----- I don't know if you ever got an answer to this question or not but just today I got the update for the AOL Connectivity software that you are referring to. I've always connected via broadband and that is still how it is recognizing me--so that part went ok (so far). The installation placed a new icon blue icon in my systray that says AOL Connectivity Available. That's all I know about it. One thing though---it SEEMS to have solved the problem I was having of AOL trying to restart itself whenever I'd sign off. It had been SO annoying it was even trying to restart during installation of new software and even when I was shutting down the computer--I'd get error messages that AOL couldn't initialize because my computer was shutting down. Nothing I changed in the settings solved the problem--but perhaps something that the Connectivity update found during installation solved the problem--time will tell. Joan
