All I know is that I have in my AOL. 8.0 PFC all the mail I sent between 20 July 2001 and 13 March 2005. If there was sent mail I did not want to keep I deleted it - all the rest is there. There is an option in preferences to "Keep all mail I have sent". I marked that option. If that sent mail starts to disappear after all this time I am going to be very angry!
