Joan, Thank you for responding. I am using the computer at work. Later, if it is open, I will go to the library. The tech said I was able to "load" AOL but could not "launch" it. I was getting the blue screen which said AOL and showed the logo and could not go farther than that. I was not able to get to the sign in page. We were advised to get a new disk and reinstall AOL. When I tried to do that, I got to a point where it said that the computer had a different language than AOL. I called the tech again, (waited about an hour by the way) Tech advised that new disk might be corrupt, so tried another disk and the same thing happened. At that point I was told something was wrong with the computer. Now I am wondering if I did the right thing by uninstalling AOL. I ususally have a hard time getting everything back. I am concerned with what went wrong with my computer for no apparent reason. Nothing was changed, added, etc from the last time I had been on AOL until my son tried and could not get on.
