Sharon I did that long ago--right clicked on the AOL icon in my systray and selected Auto-start options and put a check mark in the box for Don't Use any Auto-Start Options. It isn't working--AOL still starts any time I log off--within a minute or two. Sometimes it tries to load before it is completely unloaded and I get an error message that AOL can't start. I just click out of it and in another minute it restarts itself correctly--or incorrectly depending on the point of view. :( Joan
