I have both Acrobat Reader (v. 7.0, fully updated) and Acrobat (v. 5.0, also fully updated) on my PC. I am running Windows XP, and the file association for pdf files is set to Acrobat Reader 7.0. However, whenever I try to open a pdf file from AOL, it tries to use Acrobat 5.0. Also, the file won't open. I can save the file (right-click and "save target as") and then it will open OK in Acrobat Reader. Is there some other setting in AOL that overrides the file type association in Windows? Wilson
