Milton, In your message Wed, 24 May 2006 to AOLers-RootsWeb-L@rootsweb.com you asked . . . How do I transfer bookmarks from mac aol 5 [sys 9.1] to the next highest aol version in sys 10.3? I will be using classic mode in 10.3 but want bookmarks in 10.3 Safari and aol. I made the same move several years ago from OS-9 to OS-X using the same Macintosh computer. I just got a current AOL software CD from the Post Office with "AOL for Mac OS X" and installed in on my computer. My address book, Favorites, and Buddy List were migrated to the new version of AOL for OS X on my computer and it updated everything to the OS X operating system. I use AOL under OS X and still have some older software that requires the Classic OS-9. The classic software just starts up under OS-9 and the newer software starts up under OS-X. It's all transparent to me. Hope this goes smoothly for you. It will work if you have any of the Macintosh computers with G-4 or G-5 CPU's. Classic OS-9 is not available in the newest Macintosh computers using the Intel CPU's. Scott Wagner Macintosh and Reunion user
