The next time you open the inbox the messages marked already read (including the one you saved to your PC) should be moved over to your old mail folder--but should also be on your PC where you saved it. I'm concerned that if you are manually DELETING the message from your inbox after saving it to the default folder on your PC that AOL may also be deleting your saved copy--I know it has happened to many of us. Better check! Joan I prefer to delete the mail I do not want to keep as I go. The ones I keep is saved in a folder on my PC. I haven't had any of them deleted by AOL yet. Every week or so I will copy and paste them to my external HD for long time saving. Lloyd
