To reboot the modem, turn your computer off, then unplug the modem from the electrical connection and count to about 30. Replug the electrical connection again to the modem and wait for all the lights to come back and then restart your computer. NOW you have rebooted your modem. Sharon Now I don't know if a DSL modem is different than a cable modem but I can reboot my cable modem without having to shut the computer down. Once all the little lights stop flashing when you unplug the modem's phone/cable connection the link both between the computer and the modem and the cable and the modem are broken. So waiting 30 seconds and reconnecting the input of the cable/DSL line should cause the modem to establish a new connection on BOTH ends. Joan
