Is that the way aol works or is there a setting I can change to make the original disappear when I click save. Lloyd Lloyd- Assuming you are saving the email to the default incoming saved mail folder on your PC, this shouldn't have any bearing on accessing the next email in line in your inbox but it won't delete the message from your incoming mail either. The next time you open the inbox the messages marked already read (including the one you saved to your PC) should be moved over to your old mail folder--but should also be on your PC where you saved it. I'm concerned that if you are manually DELETING the message from your inbox after saving it to the default folder on your PC that AOL may also be deleting your saved copy--I know it has happened to many of us. Better check! Joan
