Lloyd Lloyd- And this is usually ok--unless you also manually delete the mail from your inbox or old mail without letting it get deleted automatically. I know this sounds illogical that AOL assumes you also want to delete the copy on your computer--but as Sharon pointed out they started doing this some time back because too many AOLers were saving all their mail to their computers and not even realizing how much had built up and then having computer problems. So, in effect, they dumbed things down to accomodate the least knowledgeable users and thoroughly confused their experienced subscribers in the process. Joan
