Lloyd Lloyd- Sooner or later you are going to get stung by AOL's penchant for deleting the saved mail when you delete the already read mail from the inbox/old mail folder. If you want to permanently save mail it is best to place it in a folder other than the default saved mail folder. Personally I can't see the reason for deleting your already read mail as you go along--it will delete itself in time so it isn't clogging up your computer--it is stored on AOL's server and not your computer anyway. I'd leave it be and let it delete in time automatically. Joan
