Available at their website for "less than $30". I had used Family Origins since the mid 1990's, but Broderbund acquired the rights, then stopped supporting it. Transferring data is relatively easy, if you use a gedcom file. As corresponding secretary and editor for the local genealogy society, I have imported gedcoms from people all over the country. Never had a problem with them attached to email, or whatever the parent program was. Donald- I've also recommended RootsMagic to Sharon--I agree with you and was also a long-time Family Origins user before using RootsMagic. I personally think it is about the best genealogy program around for most users -- unless you need all the features of TMG which is more than most people need. RootsMagic (like FO before it) handles sources better than most programs and also creates nice webpages. Joan
