She sends it to me and then receives the message that my address is not a valid e-mail address. She receives my e-mails just fine. I contacted the technical people on line yesterday and the person told me that AOL has a hard time processing comcast e-mails at times. She ask for my friend's e-mail address so that she could contact her about the problem. I sort of resent this because I think that this is an AOL problem that they should solve and not my friend. Have any of you experienced this problem and what did you do about it? --- No--and I don't believe it has anything to do with AOL having trouble processing mail from Comcast--nonsense! See if your friend can send you a copy of the bounce notice she received (have her try sending it as a text attachment if it won't go through via normal means). Then we can see what the bounce is actually saying. The most logical explanation for the bounces though would be that your friend has your address slightly incorrect (possibly inserting an extra letter or symbol) and that is the reason she is getting your mail. I've never seen a bounce from AOL with the reason "not a valid email address" so I'd be very interested in seeing this one. AOL usually just says "user unknown" or "mailbox not found" if the address isn't one they can deliver to. Joan
