I noticed the Macromedia Flash message a few minutes before I saw that someone else was having trouble with it. It was so maddening, I just went to "Add or Remove Programs" and removed the only thing that I saw that name on. I'm sure that was not the wisest thing to do, but I couldn't work around it. I even tried clicking on both of the choices, but nothing happened. The minute that I removed that program, it quit. Can I function without it? Velma
