Because of connection problems I have been advised (by AOL) to try rebooting the modem. Is there any way to just reboot the modem, other than restarting the computer? (doing the latter does seem to work, but is rather time consuming) Thanks Paul W Paul- Rebooting the computer WON'T reboot the modem. The modem is an external DSL modem, I assume--I don't know of any internal DSL modems. Reboot the modem by diconnecting it from the incoming DSL line (all flashing lights will go dark). Wait 30 seconds and plug it back in and it should reboot itself. My experience has been with a cable modem but I believe DSL modems are similar--if I am wrong I trust someone will correct me. Joan
