I HAVE Quick View. I have 9.0 security and i have the old fashion toolbar. On the RIGHT SIDE of NEW mail screen, it's got this box that is almost as tall as the full window height. In the middle is your list of new mail. Put your cursor on any one new mail in the list, and "Quick Read" is there showing what's in the content of that email. Below the box are two buttons, one for read the full text. Gee, I can do THAT myself without a "quick read" thing. It's a waste of "real estate" on the mail screen, it's useless, and annoying. So I don't know why you'd feel neglected.
