Kay- I've had cable to AOL since 1999 and I have to say what you have been experiencing with the freezing isn't the norm. Yesterday, I think AOL was having a problem with a faulty ad that kept trying to load and freezing everything for a long time every time I would go from one email to the next--AOL would say NOT RESPONDING. I hide the ads on the mail window so I don't know which one was a problem but it SEEMS to been fixed (they probably just took off the faulty ad) last night. Fingers crossed anyway.
