This has nothing to do with your being on dial up. It has to do with the ads that load at the bottom when you open an email or email reply window. I've had the ads loop and loop and sometimes it eventually stops and you can type again and the "Not Responding" notation goes away and other times you have to end task in task manager to exit AOL. I suspect it is the result of poorly executed code. The problem seems to be intermittent. It was happening earlier this morning. Joan In a message dated 8/19/2008 1:13:56 P.M.
