I own MACs. I've used both AOL, and a small local ISP. All ISPs have their quirks. AOL works better for me. IMHO: AOL software is written primarily for PCs, because lots more people own PC machines. Then they add some "mouse milk and baling wire", and come up with a version that works on a MAC.
