Ann My son wants to get a mac. Because all his friends have macs is there any special aol that he should get he uses 9.0 optomized now or anything you can think of that will help him. I've used both AOL, and a small local ISP. All ISPs have their quirks. AOL works better for me. IMHO: AOL software is written primarily for PCs, because lots more people own PC machines. Then they add some "mouse milk and baling wire", and come up with a version that works on a MAC.
