Jan- I'm not sure why you would get the "image challenge" thing if you were already logged into your AOL account. It sounds as if you were being directed or challenged by Google's CAPTCHA program used by some websites (but I've never seen AOL use it) to verify that a real live PERSON and not a BOT was trying to send the messages. I DO understand that Google's CAPTCHA program was broken yesterday--I overheard the techies at RootsWeb mentioning that.
