The RootsWeb techie is working on the problem with the AVG 8 footers and has a tool nearly ready to remove/strip those footers and not just trash the emails coming to lists.We are wondering whether this new tool might also work for AOL 5.0 users who haven't been able to post to lists unless they use webmail--because of the footer AOL adds. Could one of the AOL 5.0 users send me an email to: [email protected] so that I can show the headers to the techie working on this tool? Don't try posting to the list because it isn't in place yet--just send an email (not using webmail) from AOL 5.0 to me at the list admin address. Don't send it to my AOL address as it wouldn't include headers if you did that--but it will if you send it to the list admin address above. Thanks!
