Kay- I've been doing that with Comcast cable and AOL since 1999--so I can say it works very well. You don't need to use AOL's webmail--you can use the integrated email and use the software just as you do now but instead of having the sign on option to dial a phone number to connect you connect via TCP/IP connection--which is pretty seamless. Once connected you can navigate as you always did including accessing your email. Joan In a message dated 7/30/2008 12:13:01 P.M. I am changing to ATT DSL Friday. What d I need to do or be aware of? I would still like to use AOL for my email service. Will this be any different from webmail? Does anyone have any advice for me.
