    2. Hi Joan :) Thanks for the comments. I even early this AM rousted out your personal addy on an old AOLers post. Was going to write to you. You rescued me once in a similar situation some years ago. There seems to be more to this mail problem than just lists. I was unable to receive two test letters from my AOL sister who used a yahoo addy she had. I never recd them. My all time favorite list (BRICK WALL) is a yahoo list. Every day come rain or shine there are at least a dozen posts a day. A VERY active daily list. Nothing for some days. I have a lap top, and a computer in home office and went to AOL.com to see if more mail there. But all the same situation. Am subbed to about 20 or so RootsWeb lists and verified it yesterday AM. Will check the archives. About my daughter's mail. She sent one early yesterday AM to say on way to here from WA. Then she called me to say her mail program said AOL not accepting mail. I do not know if she in that program has a bounce notice. Because I was already having some sort of mail problem it was just one more. I never did receive that letter. She is AOL but uses a mail program because AOL is so slow loading in her area. It is IncrediMail the same program I posted on this list a warning about using it. It lost me all the letters in my main screen name. But she gets along just fine w/no problems. I will ask her about a bounce, but if she did get one probably deleted it right then. She very rarely keeps anything in her mail box. Will write to her but she has her 2 year old grandbaby on a visit until Tuesday. I try not to bother when this happens once a month. When I contacted AOL tech two days ago I expected to be told to re-install AOL. But I would resist that because is same on lap top as on my office computer. So it cannot be a corrupted AOL problem. He made a few adjs but still same as was. Never use the archives and cannot remember how to get to them. Jeannie :) In a message dated 7/27/2008 9:54:43 A.M. I'd suggest checking the list archives to be sure messages are being posted to the list before assuming you are not getting list mail. Also check MyAccount to be sure you are subbed to all the lists you think you are: https://myaccount.rootsweb.ancestry.com/ As to the notice your daughter received about AOL not accepting mail--I assumed she received a bounce notice. In order to know the reason for the bounce we'd need to see the full notice she received--have her send it to you. Joan In a message dated 7/27/2008 12:49:00 P.M. This is the first post I have gotten. For some days have rec'd no RootsWeb list posts. This AM I recd one from >From MIGEN. My daughter uses a mail program and sent me a message early yesterday AM. Her program gave message AOL not receiving mail. Never did get that mail. Could not solve anything w/AOL tech. I also left a receiving no RootsWeb post lists. Never heard anything from them. All of this very discouraging. Jeannie in OR :) **************Get fantasy football with free live scoring. Sign up for FanHouse Fantasy Football today.
