Without telling you they have changed your user name and password for routers which mean they cannot connect properly initially and then cannot connect at all. Incidentally the password and username that they claim not to know for your unsupported router is admin and admin and finding your IP address is the same for whatever router you are using. AOL CAN talk you through what you have to do and you do not have to contact the makers of your ROUTER to re-configure it for you. Took me less than 5 minutes to do it all on my own this morning without any help from anyone but then I am just a very patronised female! ------------------ I'm not sure I understand all of this. What does it mean for those of us who use a dial up connection and don't need a router?
