Mozilla Firefox is the preferred browser these days of about 50% of Internet users because it is much faster and slicker than IE. It doesn't seem to put as much stress on my computer either. You can download it and auto-install it free at the Mozilla Web site. I believe the latest version is 7.0.14 but there is also a 7.5 version that may be out of beta now. Firefox is more secure (and easier to use once you get the hang of it) than IE. Many people feel it is also a safer browser because IE has many exploits that permit malicious code to get to your computer--so many think Firefox is safer to use. Remember, all a browser is is a tool that enables us to read Web pages. Each browser goes about performing that task slightly differently but the end result is pretty much the same. Joan PS: I'm also hearing good things about the new Google Chrome browser but I haven't tried it myself. In a message dated 10/24/2009 11:33:15 A.M.
