HOWEVER, in fiddling around with that trick, I discovered a solution to Dee's need for a bigger thumbnail. In step #1 of Joan's recipe, instead of clicking on FILE > OPEN, click instead on FILE > OPEN MY PICTURE FINDER That brings up the familiar folder navigation on the left, and selectable thumbnail pictures on the right. Importantly, in that same view in the lower left hand corner is a preview pane with a larger thumbnail so that one can easier tell what each picture is. Woody
