    1. Re: [AOL-RW] Mail to Rootsweb mailing list bounced - why?
    2. Judy- It's a SORBS bounce. Rejected: 64.12.206.39 listed at dnsbl.sorbs.net The simple solution to this type of bounce is to resend the email until it goes through -- which often is immediately on the second try. SORBS is a spam filtering tool used by RootsWeb and many others and it helps to identify and block spam. Once in a while, legit ISPs or IP addresses get mistakenly listed for a brief time with SORBS and when that happens your mail is bounced. Since usually only a single SMTP server as AOL or elsewhere is being blocked often resending the message where it probably will be routed through a different SMTP server (AOL has many) solves the problem. The bounce message from mailer-daemon is copied in full below the asterisks. I sent another message to the same list just a couple of days ago, with no problem. Are the Rootsweb mailing list servers bouncing AOL mail again? Thanks for any help, Judy
