I just read the archives looking for all info on upgrading to MSIE 8 and the problems people have been having. I could live with MSIE 7 but I'm on Facebook a lot and at the top of their page it tells me that I'm running an outdated version of MSIE and that Facebook would run much better if I upgraded. It suggests that I upgrade to MSIE 8, switch to Firefox, Safari or Google Chrome. I've never used anything but MSIE and am unfamiliar with the other suggestions Facebook gives me. I'm using AOL 9.0 SE, Windows XP on an HP notebook pc and dont want MSIE 8 to screw anything up or crash the notebook. Is anyone still having problems with MSIE 8 or is it safe to assume that if I upgrade, all will be ok? Also too, I read something about service pack 2 and 3 and that possibly 3 needs to be installed/downloaded before upgrading to MSIE 8. I'm clueless on what to do. Any ideas or suggestions????
