    1. Re: [AOL-RW] new high speed connection and free McAfee
    2. You can also check with your new broadband provider as they may also offer a free antivirus protection. Comcast does, for one (they offer McAfee) and I believe Verizon has their own free program. Joan In a message dated 4/23/2010 9:52:06 P.M. I do use the free McAfee although I get very frustrated with it, takes so long to do a scan but fortunately it has only once found a trojan a few years ago. Also almost every day a small box comes up in the bottom right corner saying "your computer is not protected" and then when you bring up McAfee it usually (not always) says I am protected. When it says I'm not, and I say fix it, occasionally it will come back and say "one or more files can not be fixed due to an error." But the next time it may be fine. I will go to one of the other free virus programs when I change to the free AOL. Thanks for your help. Nancy
