We will probably continue to have this problem as long as RootsWeb uses SORBS as a part of their spam reduction measures. For any of a variety of reasons, one or more of AOL's servers gets temporarily listed with SORBS as being the source of spam. When that happens and your list-bound message just happens to be routed through the offending server--you get the bounce. I've found that simply resending the message (even immediately) often allows the message to go through just fine--because it probably will be routed through a different server the next time around or the ban will be lifted on the one identified as sending spam. This morning, I received two kickbacks before it finally went out on the 3rd try. Nothing different on the 3rd try -- it just went. Anyone else having this problem, or know what would cause it?
