    1. Re: [AOL-RW] Requests to sign in twice
    2. Joan, It's not requiring you to 'open a new account' just offering you the opportunity to do so. When we move from within the AOL client to the Internet, we are not always recognized. So we usually need to sign in for the Internet based service we want to use. Think of it as an extra security step. Sharon In a message dated 5/1/2010 6:36:09 P.M. These happen most frequently when I attempt to open My Calendar. They are also accompanied with requests to open a new AOL account, which seems to be absurd since I am already signed in to my account. Obviously I ignore such requests, which usually stop if I switch to another screen name and then back to my primary screen name. Is it possible that these requests indicate infection with a virus or Trojan? My McAfee comes out clean every time.
