    1. Re: [AOL-RW] Bcc...How? Where?
    2. You can send bccs by enclosing the addresses (in the Copy to box) in parentheses. For example: Copy To: (joe@aol.com, john@isp.net, susie@myisp.com) Joan In a message dated 12/3/2009 8:25:11 A.M. Eastern Standard Time, CloughGen@aol.com writes: Dear List, How do I send Bcc's? 1. Re: [AOL-RW] Where did the white pages go?
    2. Wilson I put anywho anywhere in keyword and I get white and yellow pages Ema Maybe I've missed something, but there is no longer a link on the AOL home page to the White Pages phone directory. Why did they take away such a useful link -- especially for genealogists? Wilson

    2. Seems as if I'm the only one NOT having problems. I'm running a brand-new Windows 7 and was dragged kicking and screaming to an upgrade to AOL 9.5 because apparently that is the only compatible version for 7. I was assured by the tech that 9.5 was out of beta and there would be no problems. So far she was right. Now if I can ever figure out how to navigate in 7 . . . :-) Vanette In a message dated 11/24/2009 2:02:54 A.M. 2. Re: response time. I have been having that problem for months. When I try to click on one of my favorites to open, it hangs there until I finally get angry & quit trying. Because of this I have gone to free AOL. Why pay for something when you get nothing. I also have been sending my favorites to g-mail. And any email that needs to be opened, I forward to g-mail. Then I go to Firefox to look at it/them. It is very frustrating! to say the least. I have been an AOL user for at least 15 yrs. 2. If Vista is running slow the likely cause is not having sufficient RAM to run that operating system. I have 3 GIG RAM and 4 would be even better. I have been complaining about Vista since I got it two years ago, and it gets worse everyday. Lately at least once and sometimes two and three times a session, the thing freezes up and that annoying donut starts spinning and the message "AOL not responding" ---- I press suggestion to Log Off and then it goes through reinstalling AOL. Sometimes that works and sometimes I'm really logged off. Misery loves company...........

    2. Patricia- But Hotmail and Gmail are merely places you can have free email accounts. You still need an ISP to provide your Internet access. If you prefer you could give one of those free email services a try while still keeping AOL as your ISP to provide Internet access. Joan In a message dated 11/22/2009 10:59:02 A.M. 2. I've noticed the same problem over the past few weeks. I'm also having errors popping up and my AOL software shutting down abruptly and than signing me back on. I'm thoroughly disgusted with AOL now, and would like to completely stop using them but don't know how to transfer all my saved PFC folders and Favorites over to IE Favorites. My personal favorite was AOL 5.0 which functioned the best for me, but with each new version and more bells and whistles, more things keep going wrong.
