    1. Re: [AOL-RW] IE update from Microsoft today and Chrome
    2. I've been using Google Chrome for about a week and it is very fast. I have had a few issues with trying to figure out how to copy and past things from an article or to save an article to a file on my computer but guess I'm still in the learning stages. I did find the "control this page" with the copy and paste listed but can't seem to make it work. 2. I have been warned that you should not try to uninstall the Google Chrome browser after it is installed, because it will make a real mess of your computer. A fellow OGS board member had just spent most of a day wiping his hard drive and reinstalling everything else after accidentally installing Chrome due to a permission hidden in the fine print on something else. Be careful what you install and read all that legalize. Don Clark In a message dated 1/25/2010 12:03:49 P.M. 1. Re: [AOL-RW] Two parties using my E-mail Account
    2. Cynthiana- This can happen if you get knocked off AOL and sign back on immediately and AOL thinks you are signed on twice. It will boot you off and then all would be ok when you sign back on (usually). I've had it happen if the cable goes out and you lose AOL connectivity--it confuses the AOL software. It doesn't really mean that two people are signed onto AOL under your screen name--assuming this is what happened to you. Joan In a message dated 1/21/2010 4:19:51 P.M. 1. Re: [AOL-RW] AOLERS-ROOTSWEB Digest, Vol 5, Issue 15
    2. Maybe that is the reason I had disconnect problems. I called AT&T finally when I couldn't restart it and they had disconnect problems off and on during the day due to the big storm coming through here(Northern California). Soon after I talked to them and went through the paces they guided me in, it restarted again, so don't know if it was AOL, me, or AT&T. It is working smoothly so far this morning. 2. I've been having nothing but trouble staying connected today. One of the error messages at the reconnect box is: ac-1401 Err Ox841006A. OS Win XP-SP3, ACS 4.71.14.1. It gave my firewall info as McAfee Personal & MIcrosoft Firewall. It seems to get stuck at step 4. The error message for that is AOL failed to properly respond. I've done the quick fix thing. Cleaned out all my cache, history, temp files etc. Any ideas what's up with AOL today? Thanks, Judy

    1. Re: [AOL-RW] 3 questions/problems with email
    2. Julee- The delay it mail getting the sent mail folder has caused me to resend mail at times thinking it didn't really go through...just something new to get used to. I guess they are sending it all now as if it was going through the Internet and that's why it has headers even if it is internal--like you forwarding a message to yourself. Joan In a message dated 1/19/2010 12:23:07 P.M. Eastern Standard Time, sugarfoot1@aol.com writes: i personally do not care one bit for their changes. i'm so used to the way things have been the past 14+ years that i've been with them. everyday it seems like something new or different happens without any warning or 'heads up' from aol. one thing i find very aggravating is that it takes much longer for the email to be sent and off of my screen and takes forever to show up in the 'sent mail' folder. i wish they'd just leave things alone! julee
