Well, Joan is a lot better at reading headers than I am, but from your email headers to this list, it looks to me like you are using MS Outlook to send your mail. That might account for why AOL isn't keeping a copy of it. X-Mailer: Microsoft Office Outlook, Build 11.0.5510 Sharon Dulcich ---------------------------- In a message dated 3/7/2010 10:47:43 A.M. Many...Many THANKS FOR THE HELP I will try it. Tom Temple In a message dated 3/5/2010 11:19:37 P.M. Central Standard Time, DULCICH6@aol.com writes: OK, Tom......... Here's what to do: 1) Open your mail box and look to the upper right corner of it. Find the button that says Mail Options. 2) Click on it. 3) There are two tabs in the little window that will open. One says 'General' and the other says 'Advanced'. You want the General tab on top. To make sure it is, click on the word General. 4) Now, look towards the bottom of the General page and find the one that says "Hide images & disable links in mail from unknown senders" 5) Click on the check-mark in the little tiny box for that. It should now be a blank little tiny box. 6) Click the Save button at the bottom of the page. NOW, and this is IMPORTANT!!! Those links (blue highlighted addresses) will ONLY work if you have the person that sent it to you in your address book. NOT having that person in your address book means NO working (clickable) link. It has to be a person's address and NOT a mailing list address (unless you subscribe to the Digest style) This is a protection for you that AOL has. Better wording would probably be "since AOL made changes to their email program." AOL and every other company make changes all the time. It was noted on this list some time back about headers now being included in mail sent from one AOLer to another--that would have been the same time and reason for them to have to discontinue the unsend feature. Please see number 4. on how we need to this. If so need your help OR would it better do the Promissory note? In a message dated 3/3/2010 3:13:35 P.M. Central Standard Time, gdelapp@comcast.net writes: Bob, In accordance with your request, I have examined the contract which you sent to me by E-mail. As Chancellor of the Harry S Truman Chapter, I would like to make the following observations: 1. The Color Guard is a separate entity from the Harry S. Truman Chapter, therefore, as Chancellor of the Harry S Truman Chapter, I am reluctant to give an opinion which would approve the contract. The Color Guard is not mentioned anywhere in the By-Laws of the Truman Chapter. 2. The Truman Chapter does not have the power to determine the usage of Color Guard funds. 3. If the Color Guard does, in fact, have By-Laws, I my not familiar with them, nor have I seen a copy of same. The power of the Color Guard would be determined by its By-Laws 4. I believe that Dick Bryant, the MOSSAR Chancellor would be the person to advise you in this matter. If you want my opinion as an attorney regarding this contract, I would say that a contract of this formality would not be required. I think that you would need to obtain a Promissory Note from the prospective member/borrower for the purchase amount, expressing the terms of repayment, i.e., date of payments, due date of Note and amount of payments. You also need to determine the identity of the organization or entity making the loan. If you have any questions, call me. Compatriot George
