    1. Blind copies
    2. Assume I send an email to Person A and a "blind" copy to Person B. Person A does not use AOL. If Person A sends a reply to "send all" will he be able to see who received the blind copy? Jon Raymond St Paul Park, MN Web site: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~raymond/

    1. Re: [AOL-RW] help help w mail not showing on screen
    2. I think aol is the problem. When I try to sign the screen AOL pops up whether I have tried or just click on my game screen. It does what ever it wants to and it so annoying to have to click it off several times before I can even finish a game of solataire. Sometimes i just give up and say to heck with it and turn off my computer. So I do believe aol is worn out completely and cannot take care of its customers. ew

That sounds reasonable to me, although I am definitely no expert!! I had a similar problem, although not with AOL. Every time I put a CD in the drive my Kodak picture program would start. I finally uninstalled the Kodak program, then reinstalled it - making sure that no other program was running at the time. That fixed the problem. Barbara

My LAN uses a cable modem and a wireless router. Using the system admin ID, I (1) went into the Control Panel, (2) opened Internet options, (3) went to Connections, and (4) removed Dial-Up/VPN configuration. Voila! It hasn't been back since. Hmmmm...I went to Control Panel but I don't have anything that says Internet Options--I guess my equivalent is Network Connections. I opened that and saw three choices: Dial-up which has a check mark and AOL ENABLED LAN or High-Speed internet ENABLED DELL True-Mobile 1300 WLAN Network Bridge ENABLED, Bridged This doesn't sound exactly the same as what you are seeing and by "removing" I assume you mean you removed the check mark in the Dial-up setting? It keeps coming up even though I am have not attempted to sign on. So far we haven't figured out how to make it stop. Emma
