    1. How is it done
    2. My son is sharing my account with AOL, he lives seven miles from where I live. I can be online when all of a sudden I get cut off. I immediately sign back on but, get cut off again with the message saying "Your account is already connected using AOL Dial up access. Only 1 screen name may use AOL Dial up at a time." I have asked him how he does it, he says he only sign on normally, that he doesn't know that I am online at the time. I have tried to sign on when I know he is online but cannot. Is there a secret to cutting someone off to get online yourself? Lloyd

    2. I provided the "tell us" information earlier, but if you were wanting to chat with a tech person, click on the "help" icon and then go to "Live Help". Woody ++++++++++++++++++++ _FloridaFox@aol.com_ (mailto:FloridaFox@aol.com) writes: How do I write to tell us more? Tellus and Tellusmore are not good addresses. Would someone please tell to whom I write now. Somehow with the new connectivity file AOL forced on me, I keep getting messages that my cookies must be enabled and they are. I have not changed any settings. The only thing I have done differently I ran the AOL spyware today for the first time in several months as I use Spy Bot and Adaware. Please advise about the address. Thanks

    2. I went to AOL's bizarre "help", both icon and keyword, and they took me out on a web search and came up with off-site results. I chatted with a tech, and he said that, to provide feedback to AOL, one must enter "FEEDBACK HELP" (that is TWO words, less quotes). Nothing else works. That's pretty doggoned illogical. "Feedback", "Help", "tell us", and "tell us more" won't work anymore. It must be "FEEDBACK HELP". Woody +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ FloridaFox@aol.com writes: How do I write to tell us more? 1. Connectivity
    2. Well, here we go again. AOL has for a couple of years shown on the AOL System Information - Connectivity-Devices that I have other dial-up or Lan, which I have never had; however, I was able to connect without a problem. I have always used a card or a modem. Now after the download today with the additional connectivity files and the IPHSend file, AOL is trying to connect me via broadband, which I have never had. (TCR/IP) How do I get the devices to show only my modem?

I rarely save any mail - but found my filing cabinet had about 30 messages in it. The 5 I HAD saved had red check marks next to them (I am still using AOL7) and those I could open. The others, which I am quite sure I did not save, had no check marks and I received the same "not currently available" message. Barbara

Virginia Green I live in the UK and have had the same problem for well over a month now. I use DSL and Windows XP. AOL have tried everything to help. They even sent out a BT engineer who changed the master telephone socket for an ordinary one. Even though it is recommended to use a master socket where possible. It did not cure the problem. Eventually, AOL sent out a new Broadband modem. I installed the new modem, cables and filters. Things seemed fine for a few hours but today it was back to normal or rather abnormal this morning when it took me seven hours to get on line. Leaving the computer on and AOL connected does not work for me as it just chucks me off line from time to time. It is getting a little too much to put up with so any help or advice would be really appreciated. Many thanks in anticipation. Lloyd In some cases AOL is making it cheaper to have DSL through Verizon (at least it is Verizon in my area) than it is to have Dial-up. And you don't have to have another phone line to stay connected. I don't know if it would solve the problem -- but you might look into it. Joan
