My RootsWeb newletter was also garbled. Didn't remember if I had html. or text so went to the site to check. I didn't remember my user name, etc. So when they sent it to me it was garbled. Finally remembered user name & guessed at a password LOL (its now written down) & I receive it in HTML. Using AOL 9 Security Edit. SE Gay

AOL is using the IE browser so no matter how you delete the cookies should work. Joan
Joan, I received two Ancestry newsletters. The one mailed from Rootsweb was OK. The other, which came from MyFamily.com was garbled. I have been using a computer with 8.0 AOL. I signed up for plain text. Judy

Dear AOL Listers: Would someone be kind enough to send me instructions I might provide to an end user on how to clear the cache files and how to clear cookies. Cookie clearing instructions for all at once, as well as browsing and eliminating on an individual basis -- so as not to wipe out memorized passwords would be appreciated. For AOL 8.0 plus, PC user. Thanks! Please write me directly as I am not a subscriber and will not see the message on list. Happy Trails, Lauren Rootsweb Volunteer since 1996 ** Celebrating 10 yrs**

It may depend on the type of cable connections you have. We have an all fiber-optic system here in the Seattle area. -----Original Message----- From: JRAYMOND651@aol.com [mailto:JRAYMOND651@aol.com] Sent: Tuesday, July 11, 2006 2:29 PM To: AOLers-RootsWeb-L@rootsweb.com Subject: [AOL-RW] Connectivity issue...hot weather?
