Following a complete virus scan this morning, the results tab on my AOL Safety and Security Center showed that the following files were suspect, but could not be cleaned: cbtdrtcj.exe enpmsgfa.exe eqmfexdm.exe fvneauis.exe nqkstwpr.exe tjfiduxg.exe timhbnka.exe All of the files are found in C:/Windows/system32. They show recent creation dates. The size is 17.3 KB, and use 20.0 KB of disk space. Does anyone have comments about whether they should be deleted? Wilson

When I asked for a list of all the lists I subscribe to from password central all I got back was details of my freepages account. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Jean Jean- I'm not sure your situation would fit what I just sent to the list--ONLY if the lists are migrated lists and ONLY if you could have been unsubbed possibly for blocking someone who posts to the lists on those migrated lists. I think your situation might be a bit different. Don't forget that most lists have not yet been migrated to the new system--this was merely a heads up in case this applies to you and also to watch for this in the future as admin notify their lists that they are about to be migrated to the new system. Don't forget that Password Central will only send you a list of the list to which you are currently subscribed under the email address you enter there--plus PWC may not be updated to include any already migrated lists--your current subscriptions to migrated lists probably won't be showing up there. To All- Let me start off by saying that *this* list isn't changing just yet, but it might be of interest for you to know that RootsWeb is beginning to migrate a few mailing lists over to a new list management system. Some of you may already subscribe to RootsWeb lists where it has been announced that the list has been or is soon to be migrated over to the new system. Some time ago Sharon and I did a test and reported our findings on this list about what happens when an AOL list subscriber blocks mail in mail controls for another list subscriber who posts to the list--does the blocked person's list posts bounce back to RootsWeb and eventually possibly bounce the person doing the blocking from the list? Or does the block just send the blocked poster's list mail to the spam folder of the person doing the blocking? What Sharon and I proved is that it depends on whether the LIST address is in the person doing the blocking's address book. If the list address is in the address book RootsWeb doesn't get a bounce back saying "joe6000 is not accepting mail from this sender" -- the list messages from this sender merely end up in the blocker's spam folder. If the list address is not in the address book RootsWeb DOES get a bounce back for this reason--which could potentially lead to the AOLer doing the blocking being removed from the list for bounces. Now--you are probably asking what all the above has to do with the on-going migration of RootsWeb lists to the new system. The admins of the lists already on the new system are experiencing a high level of bounces due to an AOLer, CS.com, or wmconnect subscriber blocking mail from another list member who posts to the list. In some cases the admin is not even able to get a message through to the person to explain the problem--because in some cases the AOLer is blocking the list *admin*. <g> I believe that the cause of the increas in the bounces is that as a part of the changeover the migrated list addresses arer changing from LISTNAME-L to just LISTNAME (no -L). So the list address in your address book isn't matching the list address on the incoming list mail for the migrated lists. Please keep this in mind if you block anyone's mail who may be a subscriber/poster on a list to which you subscribe. If/when your lists migrate to the new system (you will always be notified of this by the list admin of the effected lists) be sure to change your list address in your address book to correspond with the change in listname to remove the -L for the migrated lists. Thanks! Joan
I too have been getting this message usually when I am reading my email it will keep coming up and I have to X out of it. What is this annoying thing? Nancee, Ca.
