Woody, I noticed you said that you used free AVG on your laptop. Do you use AOL on that computer too? I tried using AVG and the computer was so slow I couldn't do anything and then Joan or Sharon said you can't have two virus programs, they conflict. We are most likely going to the free version very soon but just want to be sure I understand all the quirks before I do it. I was planning on buying a McAfee program but I see you mentioned Norton, was that a free download or did you have to buy it from somewhere. Thanks for your input. Well...for those who prefer the free AOL McAfee it is a reason to pay for AOL. However, people should also check to see whether their broadband service also provides free anti-virus. Nancy- The AOL icon is placed there when you originally install/download the AOL software and you can use that regardless of whether you are paying or using the free AOL.
