    1. Re: [AOL-RW] Response Time
    2. I have been having LOTS of delays on AOL. It takes awhile to load a page, sometimes when I click on mail it blinks but doesn't open, delays getting the Welcome page etc. etc. etc. I chalk it up to some switch somewhere being down and they haven't fixed it yet. Ruth In a message dated 11/21/2009 7:18:40 A.M. 2. Just because WE ignore these doesn't mean that AOL is doing that. They are very aware of them and don't need to be notified over and over from every AOLer. The fact that they are landing in the spam folder tells you that AOL already considers them spam! Sharon Dulcich ----------------------------------------- In a message dated 11/20/2009 8:06:35 A.M. 1. Re: [AOL-RW] Mail to Rootsweb mailing list bounced - why?
    2. Judy- It's a SORBS bounce. Rejected: 64.12.206.39 listed at dnsbl.sorbs.net The simple solution to this type of bounce is to resend the email until it goes through -- which often is immediately on the second try. SORBS is a spam filtering tool used by RootsWeb and many others and it helps to identify and block spam. Once in a while, legit ISPs or IP addresses get mistakenly listed for a brief time with SORBS and when that happens your mail is bounced. Since usually only a single SMTP server as AOL or elsewhere is being blocked often resending the message where it probably will be routed through a different SMTP server (AOL has many) solves the problem. 1. Re: [AOL-RW] Photos and AOL.
    2. There is no setting, to my knowledge, for enlarging those thumbnail photos. However, if you have Windows as your OS, then you can use the Windows magnifier to make them easier to see. Here are the instructions: 1) click on the little camera in an open email blank and choose your file to view photos. 2) Now, go to the bottom left-hand side of the monitor and click on the Start button. 3) Choose All Programs (Windows XP) 4) Next choose Accessories 5) Now choose Accessibilities 6) Finally, choose Magnifier. 7) Let it open and you will have the magnified area at the top of your screen and the settings window just down a little from the top of the screen. It will follow your curser, so 8) place the curser on the picture and then look at the top of the screen. 9) Adjust the level of magnification by choosing from the magnification level dropdown in the settings menu already open. 10) Just click on the Exit button on the settings window when you are done. It might seem a long process from the above instructions, but it really isn't. Sharon Dulcich ------------------------------------ In a message dated 11/17/2009 9:11:23 A.M.
