    1. [ANGUS] ROBERTSONs, etc.
    2. I don't see any match, Kaye, but I'll share what I have and see if you (or anyone else) spots something I've missed: Alexander ROBERTSON married Margaret ANGUS in 1808 in Edinburgh. Margaret was the daughter of James Angus and Margaret SMITH. Alexander Robertson and Margaret Angus had the following 4 children: Duncan, b. 1810 in Edinburgh, died 1860 in Kirriemuir. He never married, but fathered a child out of wedlock with Catherine BARCLAY (daughter of David Barclay and Agnes MUIR). The daughter was named Ann Robertson and she married Alexander IRVINE (son of William Irvine and Ann WHYTE) in 1856 in Kirriemuir. They were my great grandparents. Margaret, b. 1812 in Edinburgh. Catherine, b. 1816 in Edinburgh. She married David LIVINGSTONE, a minister, in 1852 in Kirriemuir. David was born 1819 in Dundee to John Livingstone and Lilias BLAIR. They had children John, Margaret and Lilias. Catherine died 1883 in Kirriemuir. James Angus, b. 1819 in Edinburgh. He married Marjory HENRY or Hendry who was from Tannadice. They had 5 children, the first 3 in Tannadice, the last 2 in Kirriemuir. The children were Henry, William, Margaret, Jemima and Isabella. James died 1893 in Kirriemuir. I have another line merging with my IRVINEs. Patrick Irvine married Jane/Jean ROBERTSON probably about 1829-1830. Jane, b. abt 1800 in Old Machar, Aberdeensh., was the daughter of Peter Robertson and Robina SPENCE. I know nothing about her parents, and of course her children were Irvines. She died 1868 in Kirriemuir. Any other ROBERTSONs I've collected would be from extracting Kirriemuir death records, but I don't see any connections with SHEWSTERs or BELLs. Sorry. Irene, in Michigan
