Nancy, I googled Invery and find there is an Invery House overlooking the Water of Feugh and lies 1 mile (1.5 km) south of Banchory, so this is probably the area you are looking for, although it states that the house is actually in the neighbouring parish of Strachan, the boundary of which lies just to the south of Banchory.
