Do you have any Forbes married to a Robertson sometime in the late 1800's. He would have had a daughter Mae who married a Forbes and had at least one son named Gordon. Gordon was a teacher after WW2. Mae and her husband had a bakery in Edinburgh and their son Gordon became a school teacher in Kirkcauldy and retired from there. Mae's father would have been one of my great uncles but I still don't know which one. Her father's family lived in Dundee from after the 1871 census to at least 1885 with some of the boys staying in Dundee and maybe a William moving to Lanark.
