My grandmother, Joan Hendry Norrie (b.1911) was also the granddaughter of Andrew Sturrock & Ann Balla (so she and your wife must have been cousins I guess!). Our records show Ann's parents: Robert Balla & Margaret Scott and Andrew's parents George Sturrock & Jane Ormond. Do your records go any further back?
