I have a gt gt uncle David Cable or Cabel who married an Isabel Myles on 26 January 1825 in Arbirlot and from then on I can't find anything about them. David was a sailor, born in Arbirlot on 7 October 1798 to David Cabel and Elizabeth Alexander. I've checked baptism records, Census records, deaths with no success and am totally frustrated - they have to appear somewhere surely. Would anyone have a bright idea as to a particular avenue I might pursue? I live in Australia so cannot physically attend record centres in Angus and have to rely on the internet and Scotlands People.
