i have a child born to JAMES ROBERTSON and Mgt OGILIVE named Jean [1799] , "designed" after her grandmother JEAN BISSET. so I have found a marriage for a couple PETER ROBERTSON and JEAN BISSET, married Kincardine, 1756. The first child I can find for them together is JOHN ROBERTSON born 1776 at Perth. [one possible clue here: baptised by Mr Geo Innes, Episcopal minister but on page of baptisms for all ministers of the parish.] so I am missing the years 1756 to 1776. James and Mgt Ogilvie Robertson also had John named after "John Robertson, uncle' and another reference for Jean. "Jean Robertson Aunt'.so there must have been at least JAMES and JEAN born to Peter and Jean Bisset Roberston. Peter Robertson was listed as"watchmaker' in 1776 and JAMES ROBERTSON of Dundee was also a Watchmaker. James Robertson, Watchmaker of Dundee, died 1845 at 88 years, so if correct his birth year might have been 1757? again, another temporary ? brick wall, thanks Liz of BC Canada
