His daughter was Mary and her daughter Alice married my Italian Great Grandfather Aurelio Cerretti. Mary (born in Scotland) married William Lewis (an Englishman working in Scotland) and moved back to England where Alice was born. When William Lewis died the Lewis family moved back to Uddingston in Scotland where she met and married Aurelio (who had recently arrived in Scotland from Italy). I have some pictures of Alice and of Mary I'm interested in what you know of the Thomsons and how you traced their origins to Ireland.
